Glass’s Appoints Clear for strategic branding and marketing role
Glass’s, publisher of Glass’s Guide – the motor trade’s ‘bible’ of used car prices, has appointed Clear to handle a revitalised and retargeted marketing programme.
As well as building the Glass’s brand in their traditional motor trade arena, Clear will also have a strong focus on demonstrating how Glass’s data can help consumers make better informed buying and selling decisions.
Andy Carroll, Glass’s Managing Director, commented: “I believe the time is right for a complete overhaul of the image of Glass’s, an image which has served the trade well for decades. We intend to build on those strengths and develop our unique data and automotive intelligence into an accessible tool of use to both buyers and sellers of used cars.”
On the appointment of Clear he added: “Developing and refreshing our brands, together with ensuring that our marketing activities meet all of our needs in the fast changing world of electronic communications, is critical for our future. Clear demonstrated that they can add real value and help us evolve our brand and market penetration as we grow the business”.
Julie Clare, Managing Director of Clear, commented: “Glass’s is an iconic brand in the motor industry and we will be building on those strengths to reflect the new ways that consumers and the motor trade interact in the digital era. Clear will be working with the whole team at Glass’s to further develop their strategy, to integrate the programme and to ensure that it is executed effectively through all the marketing channels.”
